THE FIRST THANKSGIVING
I never thought I would walk for so long all alone. My feet were sore because of my shoes. I am hot and sweaty, and oh how I was dying to take off my petticoat but I mustn't waist any time.
In the beginning when I was with my mother, father, and little brother I felt lonely. Even more than I am now. I dreamed about what it would be like to be a Wampanoag. All around the tribe playing knicker box with my closes friends. Friends that I could call family. I would close my eyes and imagine me there.
After that I started having discussions with my mother and father. I begged them to come with me and join the Wampanoag, but they refused. I tried and tried but eventually I gave up. That is when I decided I was going to go on my
own.
So that night at midnight I snuck out of our cottage, and that is were my journey began. There were massive tees. I felt like I was a tiny ant, lost. I walked day and night. It felt like forever never ending.
Finally I start to see new things. It looked like there was a fog of smoke in a short distance. That smoke must be cumming from a wetu! That means I am getting closer. I walked for a few more hours. Now I can smell fresh Sobaheg. Also from a short distance I can see people and definitely not Pilgrim people. Yes! I have made it!
So as I approached the tribe I thought and thought about what I should say. As I walked I got some mid evil stares, I felt sort of embarrassed. I reached the leader, or so I thought he was the leader and I could hear a bunch of Indians calling him Massasoit. So I assumed that was his name. It was kinda strange because I saw no sign of any children. Uh oh, What if this was the wrong tribe?
After that no one really said anything, but they let me stay in their wetu over night. But I had a feeling I would have a lot of explaining to do in the morning. The wetus were kinda odd compared to my old home. It was covered with animal skin and there was a small whole at the top of the wetu!! This is way different from my old cottage!!
So the next morning I woke up to the sound of the Wampanoags beating hollow logs in a interesting rhythm. So I stuck my head out of the wetu to see what was going on. Suddenly I felt excited because I started to see some children. I even saw children that I know like Black tears, Walking spider, Dark light, pretty moon, shiny hair, and new moon!
After that I wanted to get dressed before I went out side. When I was just about to go out I felt a soft grip on my shoulder. It sort of startled me so I jumped. Although I was scared to turn around I did anyway. After that I was in complete shock over what I saw.
My mother, father, and brother were here to! I had so many questions to ask them like; How did you find me? But I decided it was best to keep my mouth closed. But it turns out they weren't mad at me at all. They actually had joy full faces. Then they explained the whole story. Mother explained, "As soon as I found out that you were gone I ran and got your father and brother and we ran after you immediately." No one said to much after that . Then we went outside.
"Wow!' I screamed. The Indians had a huge log shaped like the tables mother used to make us eat at.The log was full of delicious looking food. There was waterfowl, Sobaheg, and so many wonderful crops. They all had nothing but smiles on their faces, including mother and father. Then the words I will never ever forget, "welcome to the tribe, Massasoit cheered. Then we all sat down and ate a our wonderful Thanks giving feast, or at least that's what Massasoit called it.
Thanks to my new wonderful Wampanoag family I didn't feel so lonely anymore. In fact I already had a new name. "Proud Turtle", and boy was I proud of that name!

My Lead
It was a typical day at the beach. Every time I go with my friends nothing extrodinary ever happens. Wait a second I see ship. Oh know a bomb is heading directly toward the ship in the air. I hear my friend scream, "Run for your lives". The ship is in pieces.

Yesterday vs. Today
I am in pain, my feet are clenched I see the drill, I don't like going to the dentists. But back then taking care of your teeth could kill you! But now a days perfecting your smile is easier than before. Back then people used chewed up sticks, porcupine quill or anything they could find in their back yard to clean their teeth. Now you can just go to a store and buy any kind of tooth brush or other teeth cleaning material for as little as a dollar! The British used toothpaste that just eroded the enamel on their teeth. Today's toothpaste whitens and brightens your smile. So as you can see cleaning your teeth has made big changes over the years

My Everyday Task
My Everyday Task
I have a task that I do everyday, and I am going to tell you how I complete them. My task is to take care of my gerbils and my dog. The first thing that I do is feed my dog Brutas. When he is finished eating I take him out for a long walk. Once we come back from the walk I give him four treats as a reward. Next I brush his short white fur. I always make sure that he had plenty of water. I give him an extra scoop of dog food for later. That is my task for taking care of my dog Brutas.
The next task that I complete is taking care of my gerbils (hamsters). The first thing I do when I take care of my gerbils is, see if they have food and water. If they do not have food, I take a small handful of gerbil food and place it in their food bowl. Everyday I give them seven treats. First I give them four sunflower seeds. Second I give them two pumpkin seeds. Finally I give them one yogurt treat. I always make sure that their water is clean and full.
Completing these tasks everyday is very important. If I didn’t my animals wouldn’t be able to survive. Those were two of my tasks, what are some of your tasks?
